MEDIA – The Wilkes University women's cross country team competed in the 6k at the Dan Talbot Open hosted by Bryn Mawr College Friday afternoon at Rose Tree Park.

The Colonels did not post a team score, as they only had four runners compete. The 6k featured 74 runners from 13 different schools.
 
Emily Satnowski (Piscataway, NJ/Piscataway) led all Wilkes runners, coming in 24th place overall. The sophomore posted a time of 29:11.84. She was closely followed by junior Regan Metz (Berwick, PA/Berwick Area), who came in 25th overall with a time of 29:23.21
 
Junior Courtney Negra (Colonia, NJ/Colonia) finished with a time of 30:02.66, good for 31st overall. Senior Abby Kuppinger (Syracuse, NY/West Genesee) rounded out the Colonels contingent at 33rd overall with a time of 30:55.27.
 
Unattached runner Madison Brown came in first place overall with a time of 24:20.21. Bryn Mawr College placed first with a team score of 52.
 
The Colonels return to action on Friday, October 20 at the LVC Last Chance Run Fast, hosted by Lebanon Valley College at Union Canal Tunnel Park.
