Wilkes Men's Golf Finishes Play at Landmark Conference Fall Preview
SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team concluded play at the 2024 Landmark Conference Fall Preview Sunday afternoon hosted at the Shawnee Golf Course.
Wilkes shot a team score of 362 in round two play on Sunday.
Cole Jungwirth (Minneapolis, MN/Thomas Jefferson) bested his round one score by one carding a 79 (+7) on day two to lead the Colonels in 20
th place overall.
Trey Hilbert (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra) followed shooting an 89 in round two for 43
rd overall while
Daniel Nau (Wake Forest, NC/Heritage) finished with a 93 only playing round two.
Loch Williams scored a 101 in his only round of play and
Joseph Krieg (Newton, NJ/Newtown) posted a 104 on day two for 44
th overall over the two-round event.
Jason Koch of Moravian earned medalist honors finishing first with a one under par 71 on day two and a two-day total of 146, three strokes ahead of second for the title.
Scranton finished first place in the team scoring combing for a two-day total of 610.
The event concludes fall play for the Colonels who will return to the course spring 2025.
