Wilkes Women's Golf Finishes 7th at Landmark Conference Fall Preview
SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf team finished seventh to conclude play at the Landmark Conference Fall Preview Sunday afternoon hosted at the Shawnee Golf Course.
The Colonels shot a two-day total of 894, besting their round one score by two strokes during Sunday's play.
Kyleen McCance (Hanover, PA/Hanover Area) continued her fine play this fall finishing seventh overall shooting an 83 (+11) during round two. McCance shot a two-day total of 169, thirteen strokes behind the leader.
Isabella Rebar (Eynon, Pa./Valley View) followed in 33
rd place carding a 105 on day two, seven strokes better than her round one performance.
Mollie Corbett (Hanover, PA/Hanover Area) posted a 120 for 40
th place and
Morgan Andretta (Middleburg, PA/Midd-West) rounded out the Colonel scorers with a 138 for 42
nd place.
Catholic's Brooke Smith and Susquehanna's Kennedy Petrovich tied for medalist honors each shooting a combined 156.
Catholic took home the team title with a team score of 651, twenty-two strokes ahead of second place Drew University.
The event concludes play for the Colonels who will return to the course in the spring of 2025.
