WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's golf team finished second in Sunday afternoon's tri-match against Misericordia University and FDU-Florham at the Wyoming Valley Country Club.

The Colonels posted a team score of 407, narrowly missing out on the top spot which was claimed by Misericordia at 402. FDU-Florham finished last with a score of 425.

Kyleen McCance (Hanover, PA/Hanover Area) earned medalist honors with a 76, finishing five over par. Rissa Brazeau (Timmins, ON/) set a new career-low with a 108, followed by Isabella Rebar (Eynon, Pa./Valley View) (110) and Lauren Koval (Swoyersville, PA/Wyoming Valley West) (113).

Jordyn Ruane finished at the top of the Misericordia scorecard with a 90, while three FDU golfers tied for the top score at 103.

The Colonels will be in action next on Sunday, October 20 for a match at Irem Country Club hosted by Misericordia University at 1:00 p.m.
