Wilkes Women's Cross Country Finishes 10th at Landmark Championships
ELIZABETHTOWN, PA — The Wilkes University women's cross country team finished 10th at the 2024 Landmark Conference Championships Saturday morning hosted by Elizabethtown College.
The Colonels finished with 263 team points. Catholic University captured the title with a team score of 59 while Moravian University finished second with 60 points and the University of Scranton third with 61 points.
Ava Bailor (York, PA/Red Lion) top all Wilkes finishers with a personal best time of 24:58 for 38th place.
Mikayla Miller (Wyoming, PA/Dallas Area) posted a personal best time of 27:04 for 75th place.
Regan Metz (Berwick, PA/Berwick Area) finished 84th overall with a personal best time of 27:25.
Courtney Negra (Colonia, NJ/Colonia) was the final Colonel who reached a personal best time crossing the line at 27:54 for 88th overall.
Mara Adams (Mehoopany, PA/Tunkhannock Area) rounded out the Wilkes competitors with a time of 28:54 for 93rd place.
