Wilkes Women's Swimming Kicks Off Landmark Conference Championships with 200 Medley Relay
BALTIMORE, MD – The Wilkes University women's swimming team began competition in its first Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships on Thursday night at the Mangione Aquatic Center on the campus of Loyola University Maryland. The Colonels competed in the 200 Medley Relay.

Brynn Ullerich (Omaha, NE/Marian),
Mina Tutko (Easton, PA/Easton Area),
Emma Burlew (Effort, PA/Pleasant Valley), and
Kiaya Daube (Scranton, PA/Holy Cross) finished in seventh place out of 10 teams with a time of 2:04.88 in the 200 Medley Relay. The time was over two seconds faster than the seed time for the four first-year swimmers.
Wilkes is tied for eighth place after day one with 24 team points.
The Colonels return to the pool Friday morning for the preliminary rounds of the day two slate at 10:00 a.m. The Finals of those events are set for 6:00 p.m. Friday night.
