Wilkes Women's Golf Finishes Third at Home Quad Match
LEHMAN, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf team finished in third place at a home quad match against the University of Scranton, King's College and Misericordia University Saturday afternoon at Huntsville Golf Club.
The Colonels shot a team score of 419 on the day. Scranton took home first place with a score of 365 while Misericordia edged out Wilkes by one stroke finishing with a 418. King's rounded out the team scores with a 462.
Kyleen McCance (Hanover, PA/Hanover Area) led Wilkes shooting an 83, good for second place overall.
Mollie Corbett (Hanover Twp., PA/Hanover Area Jr./Sr.) followed carding a 102 while
Lauren Koval (Swoyersville, PA/Wyoming Valley West) (113) and
Kylee Laudenslager (Kingston, PA/Wyoming Valley West) (121) rounded out the Wilkes finishers.
Madalyne Buhler earned medalist honors posting a ten-over 82.
Wilkes remains idle until next Saturday and Sunday when the Colonels compete in their first-ever Landmark Conference Championships held at the Shawnee Golf Course.
