Wilkes Men's Golf Finishes Second at Home Tri-Match
LEHMAN, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team concluded its regular season schedule hosting King's College and the University of Scranton Sunday in a tri-match at Huntsville Golf Club.
The Colonels finished in second place posting a team score of 327. Scranton took home first place shooting a combined 300 while King's finished third at 359.
Cole Jungwirth (Bloomington, MN/Thomas Jefferson) and
Trevor DuBoff (Stony Point, NY/North Rockland) each carded a 77 (+5) on the day.
Matthew Carlson (Delmar, NY/Albany Academy) followed with an 85 while
Trey Hilbert (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra) (88) and
Daniel Nau (Wake Forest, NC/Heritage) (96) rounded out the Colonel finishers.
Scranton's Jack Novis earned medlaist honors carding a round-low even par 72 on the day.
Up next Wilkes will make its debut in the 2024 Landmark Conference Championships on Saturday and Sunday held at the Shawnee Golf Course.
