BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Wilkes University women's swim team drew with Landmark Conference opponent Moravian University 83-83 Friday night at Liberty High School's Memorial Pool.

The team of Izzy Sparaco, Emma Burlew (Effort, PA/Pleasant Valley), Lea McCormick (Northumberland, PA/Shiekellamy), and Brynn Ullerich (Omaha, NE/Marian) opened the evening with a win in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 2:03.03.
Sparaco also won two individual events for the Colonels in the 100-yard butterfly (1:06.05) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:07.39). Burlew also claimed an individual victory in the 200-yard IM, finishing in 2:27.87.

Ullerich also claimed the top step for Wilkes, winning the 50-yard free in 28.38. Pearl Hunter finished second in the event to put two Colonels in the podium positions.

The Colonels now shift their focus to the Landmark Swimming and Diving Championships from February 13-16 at Loyola University's Mangione Aquatic Center.
