Clarks Summit, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team completed its dual match fall schedule falling 317-344 to the University of Scranton Thursday afternoon at the Glen Oak Country Club.
 
The Colonels finish 3-3-1 in the fall in match play.
 
Brady Noone (Exeter, PA/Wyoming Area) led the squad firing in an 83 (+11) while Dane Schutter (Harding, PA/Wyoming Area) finished right behind carding an 84. Jaden Bleiler (Walnutport, PA/Northampton) shot an 86 and Daniel Nau (Wake Forest, NC/Heritage) and Kaden Dittus (Kingston, PA/Wyoming Valley West) posted 91s. Trey Hilbert (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra) (94) and Ryan Hacker (Elgin, IL/American School) (98) rounded out the Wilkes participants in the dual.
 
Cade Kelleher led the way for the Royals with a 77, followed by Jack Leonard with a 78. Richard Essen and Luke Merlan each turned in 81s to complete the team scoring, while Joe Ciufo and Matthew Braunlich added 83s.
 
Wilkes will conclude the fall season on October 25-26 when the Colonels compete at the Landmark Conference Fall Preview at Shawnee Golf Course in Shawnee on the Delaware, Pa.
