WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's golf team finished in first place at a home quad match at the Wyoming Valley Country Club Sunday afternoon.
 
The Colonels posted a team score of 383 to take home top honors. Goucher College finished second with a score of 396 while Misericordia (447) and King's (487) rounded out the team scoring.
 
Kyleen McCance (Hanover, PA/Hanover Area) won medalist honors shooting a round-low 79 (+7) on the day. Madison Mendrzycki (Mountain Top, PA) (99) and Audrey Milne (London, ON/) (100) each carded career-lows while Isabella Rebar (Eynon, Pa./Valley View) finished with a 105. Haylee Bouchard (Sioux Lookout, ON/) (108) and Sydnee Macdonald (Olyphant, PA/Mid Valley) (110) rounded out the competitors for Wilkes.
 
Iseline Schenk led Goucher finishing in second place with an 83. Jackie Martin (King's) and Ava Carey (Misericordia) top their respective schools tying for fourth place carding a 95.
 
Wilkes returns to the course Thursday when the Colonels compete at the Husky Invitational hosted by Bloomsburg University starting at 12:00 p.m.
