DALLAS, Pa. – The Wilkes women's swimming and diving team competed in a tri-meet at Misericordia University on Saturday afternoon, falling to the hosts 189-51 and Ramapo College 170-69.

Lea McCormick (Northumberland, PA/Shikellamy) had the team's best result of the day, finishing runner-up in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 6:07.54. Grace Cobb (Athens, PA/Athens Area) made it two Colonels in the top three with a third-place finish in 6:13.78.

Emma Burlew (Effort, PA/Pleasant Valley) was the other Colonel to place in a podium position, finishing third in the 100-yard freestyle in 59.78.

Wilkes takes to the pool again in the new year, as they host the University of Scranton and Lebanon Valley College for a tri-meet on Saturday, January 10 at 1:00 p.m.
