BALTIMORE, MD – The Wilkes University men's swimming team concluded the first night of the 2025 Landmark Conference Championships Thursday held at the Mangione Aquatic Center at Loyola University.

Wilkes sits in fifth place with 54 team points after day one events.
 
The squad of Ashton Dainty (Scranton, PA/Scranton), Jacob Piotrowski (Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge), Alton Smargiassi (Bloomsburg, PA/Central Columbia) and Owen Lewis (Ellicott City, MD/Howard) finished in fifth place in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:39.99.
 
Leo Miller (Oak Forest, IL/Oak Forest), Caleb Keener (Shrewsbury, PA/Susquehannock), Piotrowski and John Falcone (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill West) teamed up to take home sixth place in the 800 yard freestyle relay touching in at 7:38.53.
