Wilkes Swimming Competes in Day Two of Landmark Championships 

BALTIMORE, MD – The Wilkes University men's and women's swimming teams concluded the second day of the 2025 Landmark Conference Championships Friday held at the Mangione Aquatic Center at Loyola University.

The men sit in eighth place with 60 team points, while the women sit in ninth place with 50 team points after day two of events.

The women competed in the 400 yard medley relay and finished in seventh with a time of 4:21.71. On the relay were Izzy Sparaco (Macungie, PA), Emma Burlew (Effort, PA/Pleasant Valley), Lea McCormick (Northumberland, PA/Shiekellamy), and Brynn Ullerich (Omaha, NE/Marian). 

The men also competed in the 400 yard medley relay, but suffered a stroke infraction. On the relay were Ashton Dainty (Scranton, PA/Scranton), Jacob Pitorowski, Alton Smargiassi (Bloomsburg, PA/Central Columbia), and Leo Miller (Oak Forest, IL/Oak Forest).

Day three of the Landmark Championships will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday.
