Wilkes Men's Swimming Seventh after Day Three of Landmark Championships
BALTIMORE, MD – The Wilkes University men's swimming team ended the third day of Landmark Conference Championship competition in seventh place Saturday at the Mangione Aquatic Center at Loyola University.

Caleb Keener (Shrewsbury, PA/Susquehannock) opened the day in the 400-yard IM, finishing in 4:48.96.
Alton Smargiassi (Bloomsburg, PA/Central Columbia) finished fourth in the 100-yard butterfly B Final with a time of 54.42.
Leo Miller (Oak Forest, IL/Oak Forest) finished the 200-yard free in 1:50.15, finishing fifth.
Ashton Dainty (Scranton, PA/Scranton) and
Jacob Piotrowski (Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) finished fourth and fifth in the 100-yard backstroke B Final, clocking in at 56.30 and 56.92 respectively.
Wilkes finished the day with the 200-yard freestyle relay, with the team of
Owen Lewis (Ellicott City, MD/Howard),
Luke Donato (Westerly, RI/Westerly), Smargiassi, and Dainty finishing sixth with a time of 1:29.24.
The final day of competition begins Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
