Wilkes Men's Swimming Finishes 6th at Landmark Championships
BALTIMORE, MD – The Wilkes University men's Swimming team concluded the 2025 Landmark Conference Championships finishing in 6
th place of 10 teams on Sunday night at the Mangione Aquatic Center hosted by Loyola University.
The Colonels finished with 151 team points. Catholic University claimed the team crown with 874.5 team points while the University of Scranton followed in second with 751.5 points. Drew University rounded out the top three with 681 team points.

In individual competition,
Caleb Keener (Shrewsbury, PA/Susquehannock) finished 15
th in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 18:28.43.
Jacob Piotrowski (Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) came in fourth in the B-final in the 200 backstroke touching in at 2:04.65.
Alton Smargiassi (Bloomsburg, PA/Central Columbia) finished eighth in the A-final in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:05.90.
The squad of
Leo Miller (Oak Forest, IL/Oak Forest),
Luke Donato (Westerly, RI/Westerly),
Owen Lewis (Ellicott City, MD/Howard) and
Ashton Dainty (Scranton, PA/Scranton) finished sixth in the 400 freestyle relay at 3:20.38.
