Wilkes Women's Swimming Finishes 9th at Landmark Championships
BALTIMORE, MD – The Wilkes University women's swimming team concluded the 2025 Landmark Conference Championships finishing in 9
th place of 10 teams on Sunday night at the Mangione Aquatic Center hosted by Loyola University.
The Colonels finished with 120 total team points. The University of Scranton captured the team title with a score of 859. Catholic University followed in second with 761 team points and Susquehanna finishing third at 376 points.

In individual events,
Grace Cobb (Athens, PA/Athens Area) finished the 1650 freestyle in 21:10.44 for 19
th place.
Emma Burlew (Effort, PA/Pleasant Valley) came in eighth in the 100 freestyle with a time of 57.05.
The team of
Izzy Sparaco (Macungie, PA),
Lea McCormick (Northumberland, PA/Shiekellamy),
Brynn Ullerich (Omaha, NE/Marian) and Burlew finished sixth in the 400 freestyle relay at 3:52.02.
This concludes the 2024-25 season for Wilkes.
