LEHMAN – The Wilkes University men's golf team opened its 2025 spring campaign with a 343-353 victory over visiting King's College on Saturday afternoon at Huntsville Golf Club.
 
Trey Hilbert (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra) and Daniel Nau (Wake Forest, NC/Heritage) led Wilkes each carding an 82 on the Par 72 course. Teague Porter (Anchorage, AK) followed with an 89 while Brady Rood (Bear Creek Township, PA/Holy Redeemer) followed shooting a 90. Matthew Carlson (Delmar, NY/Albany Academy) and Loch Williams rounded out the Colonels each posting a 97.
 
JP Gilroy led all scorers for King's shooting a round-low 80.
 
Wilkes is back on the course next Saturday hosting Misericordia University at 1:00 p.m. at Huntsville.
