DELAWARE, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf team finished in sixth place after round one of the 2025 Landmark Conference Women's Golf Championship Saturday afternoon held at the Shawnee Golf Course.
 
The Colonels finished with a team score of 396 (+108) for sixth place after one round of play. Drew University took home first place after round one with a team score of 319 (+31). Catholic University followed in second place with a score of 320 (+32)
 
Kyleen McCance (Hanover, PA/Hanover Area) finished tied for fourth overall carding a team-best 79 (+7) during round one play. Isabella Rebar (Eynon, Pa./Valley View) followed tied for 29^th shooting a 102 (+30) while Madison Straub (Franklin, NJ/Franklin) finished 34^th after posting a 106 (+34). Mollie Corbett (Hanover, PA/Hanover Area) (109/t-37^th) and Haylee Bouchard (Sioux Lookout, ON) (110/t-39^th) rounded out the Wilkes finishers at the event.
 
Drew's Josephine Nguyen topped all players with a round-low 75 (+3) on the Par 72 course.
 
Round two begins tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
