Wilkes Women's Cross Country Team Launches Season Seventh at Misericordia Invitational

DALLAS, Pa – Wilkes University women's cross country country launched their 2025 campaign by placing seventh of ten teams at the Misericordia Invitation this Friday afternoon. The Colonels scored a total of 213 points placing them seventh overall in a race that featured eighty-two runners from ten different institutions.

Ava Bailor (Brogue, PA/Red Lion) led the Colonels finishing 20th overall with a time of 17:11.60. Anna Glass finished 46th with a time of 20:07.60 with Julia Lewis (Hanover Township, PA/Wyoming Seminary) and Ava O'Shield (Hoschton, GA/Mill Creek) close behind with times of 20:23.60 and 21:01.80 putting them 47th and 49th overall. Mara Adams (Mehoopany, PA/Tunkhannock Area) rounded out the Colonels finishing 51st with a time of 21:22.30.

The Colonels travel back up to Dallas, PA for the Cougar Classic on Saturday, September 13.
