Wilkes Men's Golf Edges King's 319-327
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's golf team saw three finishers below 80 on way to a 319-327 victory over cross-town rival King's College Thursday afternoon at the Wyoming Valley Country Club.
Wilkes improved to 3-0 in the fall season posting its second win over the Monarchs in two weeks.
Jaden Bleiler (Walnutport, PA/Northampton) led the Colonels carding a career-low 75 (+3).
Dane Schutter (Herding, PA/Wyoming Area) followed posting a 78 while
Brady Noone (Exeter, PA/Wyoming Area) continued his fine start to the 2025-26 season shooting a 79.
Ryan Hacker (Elgin, IL/American School) (87),
Matthew Carlson (Delmar, NY/Albany Academy) (89) and
Daniel Nau (Wake Forest, NC/Heritage) (93) rounded out the Wilkes competitors.
AJ Borchert led the Monarchs with a team-low 77.
Wilkes is back on the course next Thursday with a tri-match against King's and the University of Scranton at Glen Oak Country Club starting at 1:00 p.m.
