WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Kyleen McCance (Hanover, PA/Hanover Area) earned medalist honors for the second consecutive event in 2025 as she led the Colonels to a 2-1 finish in the team's quad match with the University of Scranton, Marywood University, and Misericordia University at the Wyoming Valley Country Club Saturday afternoon.

McCance shot a round-low 72 for par to lead the Colonels and all golfers on the day. Sydnee Macdonald (Olyphant, PA/Mid Valley) carded a 100 to round out the top ten in her second collegiate competition. Two strokes behind her was Isabella Rebar (Eynon, Pa./Valley View) with a score of 102.

Madison Mendrzycki (Mountain Top, PA) and Julia Lewis (Hanover Township/Wyoming Seminary) rounded out the Colonel scorers with a 114 and 116 respectively.

Scranton were the top finishers on the day with a team score of 370. Wilkes finished second with a score of 388, followed by Marywood and Misericordia at 406 and 414 respectively.

Each team's top scorer finished in the top four positions, with Megan Rickaby led Marywood second with an 87, Ava Carey of Misericordia third with an 89, and Cassandra Weir fourth for the Royals at 90.

The Colonels take to the course again on Sunday, October 5 for another quad meet against Goucher College, King's College, and Misericordia at the Wyoming Valley Country Club starting at 1:00 p.m.
