NEWTOWN, Pa. – Wilkes University women's ice hockey goaltender Audrey Milne (London, ON) was selected as Middle Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for her play against Arcadia University, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.

This is Milne's third weekly award of the season and second consecutive nomination.

Milne made 51 saves in two games against the Knights, helping the Colonels to a major weekend sweep. She made 31 stops in a 3-2 overtime win on Saturday and followed it up with 20 more in Sunday's 5-3 victory, including eight fantastic saves in the third to preserve the victory.

Milne leads the MAC in goals against average (1.46) and shutouts (4) and sits second in save percentage (.936).

The Colonels begin a six-game road trip on Friday, January 16 as they travel to face Neumann University. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
