Wilkes Field Hockey Sees 13 Earn NFHCA National Academic Squad Honors
COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. – The Wilkes University field hockey team saw nine student-athletes selected to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad, as announced by the organization Wednesday.
Seniors
Cortney Keim (Trevorton, PA/Line Mountain),
McKenna Budzak (Sweet Valley, PA/Lake-Lehman), and
Olivia Gayoski (Forty Fort, PA/Wyoming Valley West), juniors
Morgan Hermanofski (Shickshinny, PA/Northwest Area) and
Emily Bramble (York, PA/Suburban), sophomores
Chloe Gilroy (Manchester, NH/Pace University),
Elizabeth Hodder (Elysburg, PA/Southern Columbia),
Shaelyn Donnelly (Glassboro, NJ/GCIT),
Emma Lautenbacher (Bangor, PA/Bangor), and first years
Georgia Baskett (Bloomsburg, PA/Bloomsburg),
Kenley Jenks (McDonough, NY/Greene Central School),
Lydia Keppel (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) and Taylor Minnick were recognized with the academic award. Both Keim and Budzak were named to the squad for the fourth time in their careers.
A total of 1,893 student-athletes were named to this year's NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad.
Three prestigious Division III academic awards are yet to be unveiled – the NFHCA Scholars of Distinction will be announced on February 13, the NFHCA National Academic Team awards on February 17, and concluding with the announcement of the National Scholar-Athlete on February 19.
