Miller Sweeps Diving Competition with 3M Gold, Wilkes Women's Swimming and Diving Remains Seventh after Landmark Championships Day Three
 
LOYOLA, Md. – First year diver Emma Miller (Wyoming, PA/Dallas) collected her second gold medal at the Landmark Conference Championships Saturday, winning the three-meter dive as the Wilkes women's swimming & diving team held place at seventh in the team rankings through day three of action at the Mangione Aquatic Center.

Day Three Final Results

Miller followed up on her first Landmark Championship with her second just a day later, posting a score of 348.35, claiming gold by just 5.15 points over University of Scranton senior Nicole Stofko. Pearl Hunter (York, PA/Northeastern) finished fourth in the event with a score of 237.95.

Lea McCormick (Northumberland, PA/Shikellamy) and Izzy Sparaco (Macungie, PA/Emmaus) placed in the B final of the 100-yard butterfly, with Emma Burlew (Effort, PA/Pleasant Valley) also completing a B final in the 400-yard IM.

Later in the day, the team of  Burlew, Brynn Ullerich (Omaha, NE/Marian), Sparaco and McCormick finished sixth in the 200 Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:44.03, the second-best time in program history.

Wilkes returns to the pool tomorrow for the final day of competition in the Landmark Championships, with the first session of the day scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m.
