Wilkes Field Hockey sees Five Named NFHCA 2025 Division III Scholars of Distinction
COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. – Five student-athletes from the Wilkes University field hockey team were named as 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Scholars of Distinction, as announced by the organization Friday.
Seniors
Cortney Keim (Trevorton, PA/Line Mountain),
Olivia Gayoski (Forty Fort, PA/Wyoming Valley West), and
McKenna Budzak (Sweet Valley, PA/Lake-Lehman), as well as sophomore
Shaelyn Donnelly (Glassboro, NJ/GCIT) and first year
Kenley Jenks (McDonough, NY/Greene Central School) represented the Colonels on the list.
The Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2025-26 academic year.
543 student-athletes were recognized as NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction this year.
Two NFHCA collegiate academic awards are yet to be announced — the NFHCA National Academic Team awards on February 17, and the announcement of the National Scholar-Athlete on February 19.
