Wilkes Men's Golf Opens Spring Season with 321-333 Victory Over King's
LEHMAN – The Wilkes University men's golf team opened its 2026 spring season in fine fashion posting a 321-333 victory over cross-town rival King's College Sunday afternoon at Huntsville Golf Club.
Wilkes moved its dual match record to 4-3-1 overall dating back through the fall.
Wilkes saw four of the top five scorers in the match including co-medalist honors for
Brady Noone (Exeter, PA/Wyoming Area) as he shot a round-low 78 (+6).
Dane Schutter (Harding, PA/Wyoming Area) followed carding an 80 while
Ryan Hacker (Elgin, IL/American School) finished with an 81.
Trey Hilbert (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra) (82) and
Jaden Bleiler (Walnutport, PA/Northampton) (84) rounded out the scorers for Wilkes.
Daniel Nau (Wake Forest, NC/Heritage) shot an 85 for Wilkes.
Brendan Percey tied Noone with a 78 to lead King's.
Wilkes will return to the course Friday with a dual match at Misericordia University at the Irem Country Club at 1:00 p.m.
