SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, PA – Kyleen McCance (Hanover, PA/Hanover Area) shot an 83 (+11) finishing in sixth place to lead the Wilkes University women's golf team at the Conquer the Island Tournament on Wednesday afternoon held at the Shawnee Golf Course.
 
As a team, the Colonels finished in seventh place shooting a combined 398. Susquehanna University finished in first place with a team score of 329 while Drew University finished second at 332.
 
McCance saw her first action at the Shawnee course this spring (Par 72) on way to the 83 score. She birdied the 12^th while scoring a 38 on the back nine.
 
Madison Mendrzycki (Mountain Top, PA) followed carding a 100 for 25^th place. Haylee Bouchard (Sioux Lookout, ON) shot a 102 tying for 26^th place while Isabella Rebar (Eynon, Pa./Valley View) (113/33^rd) and Sydnee Macdonald (Olyphant, PA/Mid Valley) (115/35^th) rounded out the Colonel scorers.
 
Drew's Roxy Riles earned medalist honors posting a 75 (+3) while Susquehanna's Kennedy Petrovich finished second carding a 76 (+4).
 
Wilkes will compete at the 2026 Landmark Conference Championship on Saturday and Sunday at Shawnee Golf Course. The two-day event begins Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
