Wilkes Men's Golf Drops 295-329 Decision Against Scranton
CLARKS SUMMIT, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team dropped a 295-329 decision to host the University of Scranton Monday afternoon at Glen Oak Country Club.
Wilkes fell to 4-4-1 overall in dual matches this season following the road defeat.
Trey Hilbert (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra) topped the Colonels firing in a team-low 78 (+6) on the day.
Jaden Bleiler (Walnutport, PA/Northampton) followed carding an 80 while
Daniel Nau (Wake Forest, NC/Heritage) finished with an 85.
Matthew Carlson (Delmar, NY/Albany Academy) shot an 86,
Brady Noone (Exeter, PA/Wyoming Area) an 87 and
Ryan Hacker (Elgin, IL/American School) a 90 to round out the Colonel scorers.
Scranton saw all six competitors shoot in the 70s on the day. Richard Essen earned medalist honors shooting a round-low 71 (-1).
Wilkes is back on the course Saturday hosting Misericordia University at 1:00 p.m. at Huntsville Golf Club.
