Wilkes Men's Tennis Opens Fall Season with Loss at Swarthmore

SWARTHMORE, PA – The Wilkes University men's tennis team opened its 2026-27 season with a 7-0 defeat at Swarthmore College Friday afternoon.
 
Swarthmore, who finished last season ranked seventh in the NCAA rankings and first in Region 3, claimed the point in doubles play sweeping all three duo flights.
 
The hosts then clinched the match with a clean sweep in singles play allowing just four total games in the matches.
 
Wilkes is back in action tomorrow and Sunday when the Colonels compete in the King's Tournament held at Kirby Park and Ralston Athletic Complex Courts.
