WILKES-BARRE – Kyleen McCance (Hanover, PA/Hanover Area) shot a round low 75 (+3) on way to medalist honors as the Wilkes University women's golf team finished third of four teams at the 2026 Misericordia Fall Invitational Friday afternoon at Wilkes-Barre Municipal Golf Course.
 
McCance topped all scorers by at least 10 strokes on way to first place individually. Isabella Rebar (Eynon, Pa./Valley View) followed with a career-low round of 99 while Leah Skudalski () also carded a 99 for the Colonels.
 
Sydnee Macdonald (Olyphant, PA/Mid Valley) finished with a 106 while Madison Mendrzycki (Mountain Top, PA/) rounded out the Wilkes finishers posting a 111.
 
Lock Haven took home first place in the team standings shooting a combined 365 while the University of Scranton followed in second place with a team score of 372. King's College was in fourth place with a score of 473. Host Misericordia University did not score in the team standings with just two players on the card.
 
Wilkes is back on the course Sunday when the Colonels host a tri-match at Wyoming Valley Country Club against King's and Misericordia starting at 1:00 p.m.
