CLARKS SUMMIT, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team dropped a 323-342 decision to the University of Scranton at Glen Oak Country Club Thursday afternoon in dual match play.
 
Jayden Bleiler (Walnutport, PA/Northampton) led all Wilkes scorers carding an 81 (+9) on the Par 72 course. Brady Noone (Exeter, PA/Wyoming Area) followed with an 82 while Daniel Nau (Wake Forest, NC/Heritage) finished with an 88. Ryan Hacker (Elgin, IL/American School) shot a 91 and Easton Stafford (Broomfield, CO/Colorado Connections Academy) rounded out the Colonel participants posting a 95.
 
Jake Lairdieson top Scranton with a round-low 73 (+1) to earn medalist honors. The Royals saw four of its seven player shoot 79 or lower.
 
Wilkes is back on the course Sunday with a dual match against Marywood University at Stone Hedge Golf Course starting at 1:00 p.m.
