Marts Fitness Center
Welcome back Colonels! The fitness center staff cannot wait to meet and greet you with your mask on, of course! Â Your safe return has been our focus and the health and safety protocols we have in place will allow you to enjoy working out in the Marts fitness center. Â
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our COVID protocols and learn about our new reservation system called Calendly.Â
You are going to be reminded early and often of the importance of the COVID-19 protocols. Following these protocols will allow us to maintain a safe environment so we can keep the fitness center open and operational for the campus community.Â
Â
- Swiping your Wilkes ID gets you through the main door. NO ID = NO ENTRY
- Download the Wilkes University Shield app and be prepared to show your "green badge"
- Masks are mandatory to protect yourself, your fellow Colonels and the staff.Â
- Your temperature check reading must be less than 100.4 degrees.
- Show your Wilkes University Shield app to the staff member at the door.
- The fitness center footprint changed to ensure physical distancing of six feet.
- Bring your own water bottle and use the filling station provided when needed.
- Water fountains are not available, so develop the habit of bringing your own water bottle.
- Disinfect your machine/equipment immediately after use – do the right thing Colonels
- Discard paper towels in the trash receptacles.
- Use the hand sanitizing stations as you enter and exit the facility.
- Exit the fitness center through the back doors, in the rear of the fitness center.Â
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water soon after your work out.

A reservation system is necessary for us to meet occupancy restrictions in the fitness center.

- Click – Fitness Center Link at Top of Page
- Click - Link to desired date
- Choose your one-hour workout time and you are all set!
- Be on time for your workout – an hour is the limit.
