Biography

2012: Lopresto, the Colonels starting shortstop, saw time in 37 games batting .409 with a team-high 56 hits..Named second team All-Freedom Conference...Recorded 10 doubles, one triple and two home runs boasting a .540 slugging percentage in the leadoff spot in the Wilkes lineup....When he reached base, Lopresto was a menace on the base-paths stealing a team-best 18 bases while only getting caught twice...Earned 21 walks on the year (tied for first on the team)...Had at least one hit in 29 games during the season...In the first game of the year against Roanoke (03/04/12) went 1-for-3 on the day recording his first homerun of the season while adding two RBI's...Had his best performance of the year at home against Scranton (04/25/12) going 5-for-7 from the batters box with five RBI's, two runs scored on two doubles...In the last game of the year against Delaware Valley (04/28/12) recorded two hits and one walk going 2-for-3 on the day.

2011: Started 36 games for the Colonels, finishing with a .300 average and a .953 fielding percentage playing at both second base and shortstop...Finished with seven doubles and three homers, driving in 23 runs from his leadoff spot...Was second on the team with 33 runs scored and led the Colonels with 13 stolen bases...Had 12 multi-hit games, including five with at least three hits, and drove in at least two runs seven times...In match up with Johnson & Wales went 2-5 scoring a run... Tallied four hits including two doubles and a homerun while knocking in four RBI and scoring four runs in double header against FDU...had three hits, two RBI and two stolen bases in series against Misericordia…Scored two runs and walked four times against PSU-Hazleton…Had four hits, two runs, two stolen bases and two RBI in series versus Delaware Valley…went 2-for-3 with two RBI against Scranton.
