Kevin Johnson returns to Wilkes for his third season as an assistant coach after being promoted to full time assistant coach in the summer of 2024.
Johnson was a part of the coaching staff in 2025 that was named Landmark Conference Coaching Staff of the Year, finishing 28-12 overall with a 19-5 conference record, earning the No. 1 seed in the Landmark tournament.
Johnson spent two seasons as a professional baseball outfielder in the Pecos League, winning the 2023 league championship with the San Rafael Pacifics. Before that, he was a five-year Division III athlete, playing baseball for the University of Scranton.
The Whitehouse Station, N.J. native also has plenty of experience as a coach, working as an assistant coach for Baseball U PA, 941 Diamond Academy, and Hunterdon Central Regional High School.
Johnson graduated from the University of Scranton in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and graduated in 2022 with a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business.
