Mark Modrovsky enters his eighth season as an assistant coach in the Colonels dugout in 2026.
Modrovsky brings a wide range of experience in baseball circles, spending 12 years as the head varsity coach at Crestwood High School. Modrovsky also has experience as an assistant at E.L. Meyers and Holy Redeemer in Wilkes-Barre, and Sullivan West High School in New York. Since 2014, Modrovsky has served as an Associate Scout to the Mid-Atlantic Region for the Kansas City Royals.
Modrovsky graduated from Xavier University cum laude in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science, where he spent four seasons as the catcher for the Musketeers. While at Xavier, Modrovsky was named A-10 Academic All-Conference, a Top Scholar Athlete for the baseball program, the Raymond F. McCoy Award Recipient for Academic Achievement, Character, and Teaching Potential, in addition to being a member of an A-10 Western Division Championship. Modrovsky earned his Master's of Science in Education from Wilkes in 2006.
Modrovsky currently serves as an advanced biology teacher in the Crestwood School District, and resides in Luzerne County with his wife Maura and children Maggie and Mikey,
