Steve Galella enters his second year in the Colonels dugout as a graduate assistant coach after a stellar four-year career as second basemen at Rider University.
Galella finished his career with a .293 batting average, 13 home runs, 27 doubles, 130 RBI’s, a .403 slugging percentage, .378 on base percentage, and a .951 fielding percentage while playing second base. A former First Team All-NJCBA selection, Galella was a two-time member of the MAAC All-Academic Team. He was named to the 2008 NJCBA All-Rookie Team.
He graduated from Rider in 2011 with a degree in accounting. He is pursuing his MBA at Wilkes.
