Jordan Uhing enters her fifth year at Wilkes in 2025, her first as the co-head coach of the Wilkes Cross Country teams after being named to the position on August 1, 2025. Uhing also serves as a Fitness Center/Strength and Conditioning Assistant and as an assistant on the Wilkes softball staff.
Uhing came to Wilkes after serving an internship at Country Strong Performance and Fitness in Industry, Pa. While at Country Strong, Uhing helped train young athletes to gain strength and speed to optimize performance in their sport, helped train adults to achieve their fitness goals, introduced new members to weightlifting programs and assisted in running the facility.
Uhing graduated from Pitt-Bradford in May 2021 with a degree in Exercise Science and Minor in Athletic Coaching. While at Pitt-Bradford, Uhing was a four-year member of the Panthers softball team, garnering both pre-and post-season Pitcher of the Year recognition and First Team All-AMCC during her senior season. Uhing also had success in the classroom, earning All-Academic all four years while being named Pitt-Bradford's Female Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2021.Â
Uhing earned her Master's Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with a concentration in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention from PennWest California in May 2024.
