Courtney Dwyer joins the Wilkes field hockey staff as an assistant coach for the 2023 season.
Dwyer was a member of the University of Scranton field hockey team from 2018 through 2020 seasons and then continued her career at Keystone College where she played the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Her senior year she served as captain and helped lead Keystone to the CSAC Championship. Her junior year, she assisted Keystone into the CSAC semifinals. During her collegiate career, Dwyer received Landmark Conference Academic Honors, was a two-year member of the CSAC All-Academic Team, and a four-year member of the NFHCA All-Academic Squad. She was also a member of the Student-Athletes Advisory Committee while at Keystone.
In addition, Dwyer has served as a coach for NEPA Force field hockey club since November 2020 where she coaches players ages 5 to 18 to help them improve their skills. She is from Nicholson, Pa and attended Lackawanna Trail School District where she started her field hockey career.
Dwyer, a 2023 graduate of Keystone College with he Bachelor of Science in Biology, is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Nutrition at Marywood University.
