Maureen Ordnung begins her second season as an assistant coach for the Lady Colonels in 2015.
Ordnung comes to Wilkes after serving as assistant coach at East Stroudsburg North High School last year. She also is a member of the KaPow Field Hockey Klub serving as a coach/goalkeeping specialist since 2012.
Ordnung graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2012 with a degree in Education. At ESU, she was a standout player on the Lady Warriors field hockey team being named All-PSAC twice as well as earning team MVP and captain honors. She also was named ESU Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year as a senior.
While at East Stroudsburg, Ordnung created the Mo's Mass Mile Fund to raise $500 as an ESU athletic scholarship annually, as well as fund scouting opportunities for high school student athletes.
A Honesdale High School graduate, Ordnung is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration from East Stroudsburg.
