Dr. Prahlad Murthy is a professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, College Station, TX and has been teaching over three decades during which time he has held various administrative positions. His teaching and research interests include air pollution control, water & wastewater treatment, engineering ethics, and engineering education. Dr. Murthy is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Pennsylvania and Delaware and is a Board Certified Environmental Engineer (BCEE) from the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists. He loves to travel and is an ardent sports fan especially of cricket, soccer, and field hockey, which is the national sport for men and women in his native India.
