Richards joins the Wilkes Football staff in 2026 as the team’s Defensive Line coach.
Richards spent the 2025 season with Monmouth University as a defensive quality control coach and bucks coach. Prior to his stint with the Hawks, Richards served as the defensive run game coordinator at Red Bank Catholic high school from 2024 to 2026, while also coaching linebackers and defensive backs.
The Wall, N.J. native graduated from Western Connecticut State in December of 2023, where he played four seasons with the Wolves and captured the MASCAC championship that fall. After graduation, Richards spent the spring as the team’s assistant linebackers coach.
