Cole Glennon begins his fourth season as an assistant coach at Wilkes and will serve as defensive coordinator for head coach Trey Brown.
Glennon came to Wilkes after serving as a defensive assistant at Villanova University for three seasons from 2012-2014. While at Villanova, Glennon worked directly with the defensive coordinator in all aspects including film breakdown and exchange and opponent and self scout analysis. He also worked closely with the linebackers and special teams units.
Prior to Villanova, Glennon worked at Muhlenberg College for one season where he served directly under the head coach in all aspects of the football program. From a specific coaching standpoint, Glennon was Muhlenberg's outside linebackers coach. He was also responsible for recruiting southeast and central Pennsylvania, as well as Maryland, Washington, D.C., Texas, Florida and California.
Glennon is a 2011 graduate of Dickinson College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics with a minor in Physics. He was a three-year letterwinner for the Dickinson football team.
