David Biever

David Biever

David Biever enters his twelfth season in 2025 and second year as head coach after being named the tenth head coach in the program's history on January 8, 2024. Biever served as the Associate Head Coach, Offensive Line coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the program prior to his promotion.

In his first year as head coach, Biever led the team to a 7-4 overall record and a 5-1 mark in Landmark play, reaching the Chesapeake Bowl Challenge for the second consecutive year. Biever coached 19 student-athletes to All-Landmark Conference honors including his first All-American in Donell Mackey-Woodson. Mackey-Woodson was one of four players to recieve All-Region marks under Biever's leadership that season, alongside Angel Ramos (Second Team), Alex Orlando (Second Team), and Elijah Jules (Third Team).

He has coached six all-conference offensive line selections during his tenure including First Team member Billy Anderson in 2022, Mike Litwak (2014 - Honorable Mention), Ryan Bowman (2015 - Honorable Mention, 2016 - Honorable Mention, 2017 - Second Team), and Aidan Palochik (2022 - Honorable Mention). Anderson was also named Third Team All-Region in 2022 and the MAC Football Senior Scholar-Athlete.
 
Biever came to Wilkes after serving four years as the assistant varsity offensive and defensive line coach at Pleasant Valley High School. While at Pleasant Valley, he also worked as the video coordinator and weight room supervisor for all four years.
 
Biever coached three district qualifying teams at Pleasant Valley (2010, 2012, 2013) claiming the Co-Mountain Valley Conference championship in 2010. In 2012, Biever helped lead Pleasant Valley to the District 11 championship game against Parkland. Over his time at Pleasant Valley, Biever coached several All-Conference players including eight offensive linemen, seven defensive linemen and three tight ends.
 
Biever has also coached at the East Stroudsburg University’s Summer Football camp and Run N Gun camp from 2009 to 2013.
 
Biever graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2009 with a degree in Sport Management.
