Greg Arcuri enters his second season serving as defensive backs coach for Trey Brown in 2015.
With over 14 years of football coaching experience at both the high school and college level, Arcuri has developed the backend of the Colonel defense in his first season on the sidelines at Wilkes.
Arcuri coached the defensive backs at Wilkes last season including mentoring two All-Conference selections in Omar Richardson and Marcus Leaf on a secondary that finished third in the MAC in overall pass defense.
Arcuri comes to Wilkes after a two-year stint as an assistant coach at Lackawanna College where he worked closely with the defensive coordinator and the defensive backs. Prior to Lackawanna, Arcuri coached at the high school level at Abington heights, Valley View and Westbrook (ME) high schools.
At the high school level, Arcuri has coached in three District II championships and two PIAA state playoff games while developing numerous athletes who moved on to play at the FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III level.
Arcuri played at Muhlenberg College as a defensive back leading the team in interceptions his senior season in 1998. Prior to Muhlenberg, he starred at West Scranton high school where he was a first team All-Conference defensive back and Honorable Mention wide receiver while participating in the 1995 Dream Game.
Arcuri graduated cum laude from Muhlenberg in 1999 with a degree in Biology and earned professional certification in Secondary Education in Biology and Earth and Space Science.
