Jeff Long begins his second season on the Wilkes football staff in 2016 and will coach the Colonel defensive line.
Long was most recently an assistant coach at Absegami High School from 2014-15, where he coached both the offensive and defensive lines, along with being the special teams coordinator.
From 2013 to 2014, Long also served as an assistant coach at Emmaus High School, where his responsibilities included breaking down game film, coordinating weekly game plans, and serving as the strength and conditioning coach in the offseason.
Long graduated from Muhlenberg in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in History, where he served as an offensive lineman until successive knee injuries prematurely ended his career.
