Jordan Purdy begins his second season at his alma mater and will be responsible for the Colonel running backs.
Purdy graduated from Wilkes in 2008 with his degree in elementary and special education following four years as an offensive lineman on the Colonels football team.
For the past five years, Purdy coached the running backs at Muhlenberg College. Purdy also served for two years as an assistant coach at Salisbury High School in Allentown, Pa.
Purdy is currently a teacher at Francis D. Raub Middle School in Allentown, Pa.
