Kelvin Cruz begins his fifth season on the Colonels football staff in 2022 after joining Wilkes in the Spring of 2018. He serves as the special teams coordinator and tight ends coach. He previously also worked with the fullbacks.
Cruz came to Wilkes after serving three seasons as an assistant at Hobart College, spending the last two as the tight ends coach, where he mentored one All-Conference selection. Prior to his time at Hobart, Cruz spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Geneva High School.
Cruz graduated from Hobart in 2012 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in American Studies. Cruz was a starter on the offensive line for the Statesmen, appearing in 33 games over his career.
