McCree returns for his 10th season as the Colonels Special Teams Coordinator and wide receivers coach. This will be his eighth season in a full-time capacity. McCree was a standout linebacker for the Colonels during the early 1990s.
A two-time MAC all-star, he was named the team’s Defensive Most Valuable Player in 1993 after helping Wilkes rank first in Division III in takeaways, and second in scoring defense. He spent the 1994 season as an assistant coach at Wilkes before moving on to Wyoming Seminary for three years. Prior to returning to the Colonels staff McCree spent one year as an assistant coach at Tunkhannock High School.
