Thomas “TJ” Michon joined the Wilkes men’s ice hockey staff as a volunteer assistant prior to the inaugural 2018-2019 season in the position of Director of Hockey Operations.
Michon has served the hockey community in various capacities during a span of over 10 years including a term of office on the Board of Directors for the Capital Youth Hockey Association; Tournament Director for the 2008 New York State (NYSAHA) Tier 1 Championship; Team Manager for Albany Storm AAA (CYHA), Albany Jr. Rats AAA (TAYHA) and Albany Titans AAA (TAYHA). In addition, Michon coordinated team statistics for The Albany Academy (NEPSAC) from 2012-2014; and was the hockey operations coordinator for the boys varsity team at The Albany Academy from 2014-2017 where he worked under Coach Riley.
Michon will provide hockey operations management services under direction of the Wilkes coaching staff this season. He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with both BS and ME degrees in Civil/Structural Engineering.
